My anaylsis:

Thought I would limp in with a pair of 5's since it was a fairly passive table.

Flop completely missed so plan was to check/fold out. Suprisingly everyone else checked the flop -Mistake number 1 here, should have thought this seemed suspicious.

5 comes down on the turn giving me trips, I push. Mistake number 2, I would never usually push here but thought it so unlikely that anyone else had me beat I actually wanted them to think I was bluffing and call me !!.

I think in hindsight and 3/4 of the pot sized bet on the turn would have been the best course of action, and then I would obviously fold when its reraised.

Why obviously fold? Couldn't he just as easily be slowplaying a KJ, KQ, K10, Kx?!

What do you mean "why obviously fold?",are you saying I should have bet the flop ??

I didn't want to get involved with the hand with that flop so thought it best to check/fold, then the 5 came and nobody had bet so I stupidly thought nobody had a King.

Cheers.

On the turn you have a full house NOT trips. Ofcourse I don't mind the flop check, but once that 5 hits, you have no reason to not think you have the best hand. Someone could easily to playing a King without the made fh, and you could easily double off of that person.

I have no problem betting out when a paired board gives me the fh =P

Good plan.

Or it means everyone missed the flop. Even though online poker is rigged that will happen on occasion. Shocked

Keep in mind you have a full house, not trips. There are very few hands that beat you. Unless you extremely deep stacked or your oppoent is playing with his cards face up there is no way you can fold this.

Betting with the intention to fold to a raise is insane. And going all-in isn't that bad. Your getting called by any King here. I would have bet less to keep the dead draws around.

Nothing wrong with being all in there - Any K will call you (especially since you are relatively short stacked). Too bad he caught his kicker also. Tough beat.
