Here's the setting. Rockford Charitable Games ... so this game is for charity, rather relaxed setting ... alcohol being served.
$40 SnG tournament ... start with 1K chips, blinds at 50/100 and go up every 10 minutes so there isn't much time to make a move.
Previously during the tournament, there was a dispute when a drunk called all in, but put his cards in with his chips and the dealer mucked it. In my understanding this means his hand is dead. This was also the understanding of two older gentlemen who brought the floor manager over and it was decided that since this is somewhat of a relaxed environment, the hand was dead and the pot is split between the two remaining players in the pot besides the drunk man. The drunk man is retuned his chips.
To the hand ... one of the older guys in the dispute (who looked a lot like TJ Cloutier BTW), min raises UTG to 200, drunk man calls all in for 350 ... UTG has about 700 so if you and him get all in then you will be very crippled. You have pocket 6's, with 8 people to act behind you ... what do you do?

Fold, unless those HUGE starting blinds will be increasing before they hit me again.

I'd fold it.
What was your chip count? You say you'd be crippled by it if you lost so I'm assuming around 1000? You would have a few more orbits before you would desperate and you could surely find a better spot to pick.
Saying that, I don't think you'd need to worry about anyone behind you calling. With 2 all-ins (3 assuming UTG pushes the rest in) you'd think that no one would call unless they had a monster. At best you are slighty ahead, and worst case they both have overpairs. You'd most likely need a set to take this hand.

chip count was 900 ... blinds were going up either the next hand or the hand after that (the first hand i was in the blinds, they were up to 100/200)
nobody's taking into consideration the friendly, but very drunkeness of the one guy? there was a purpose to the backstories as those were my only sources of how to read these two players ... the drunk guy was definetly playing less than great hands

Doesn't matter, you are holding 66. Unless he is pushing with pockets lower than you, its a coinflip situation at best. Now if you can put the guy on a hand like that, then definitly push... if not then lay it down.

To be honest, I'm more comfortable pushing 9Ts here than 66. There's a 30ish% chance that someone else behind you has a higher PP that they are not folding, and there's a good chance one of the others has one.
In addition, you're a coinflip at best.
I hate the situation, but I think you have to muck here, and hope for AA next hand.

That could very well be the understatement of the century.
I think I played with the guy who looked like Cloutier once or twice. That doesn't give me any more insight into what to do, because I can't recall how he plays. I think the highest EV move in this situation is to shove, and while they're dealing out the board to go get on the list for $5/$10.
In all seriousness, I'm somewhat torn between shoving and folding. You're a coinflip at best, but the drunk might occasionally have A5 or something, or a small pair. Sometimes you'll lose the Cloutier lookalike when you shove. Losing him is probably good, unless he's got a little pair. Chances are he doesn't. The payouts are so top heavy that gambling early on small edges is probably not bad at all, since you're going to need chips to work with.

fair enough ... in terms of 'results oriented thinking' snoogins was the most correct ... both players flipped over K2 ... so i was a HUGE favorite against them, and to add hurt to it a 6 came on the river
i guess i know better for next time if i play in one of these tourneys again
