have faught and faught about this, over and over again...
Ok, say that there is a full house in the community, who wins? The cards are 2 6's and 3 10's... would everyone in the hand win with that full house, since it was in the community, or if someone had a higher pocket pair, could they use that in the full house? We always fight about whats right, and whats wrong. The same with a flush. If there are 5 in the community, does everyone in the hand win, or would you take the highest diamond in someone's hand, and give it to them? Someone please help! Or could you give me a link to a site where I could find all of this information out, PLEASE!
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Reminds me of the time about 7 years back that 1988 TR was playing at a home game that included myself and my brother. He and my brother were the two left in a hand in which they were both playing the board. My brother tried in vain to argue somehow that he had a better hand. LOL. They even made a side wager about whether you could play the board...I don't think my brother ever did pay him off...what a welsher (sp?).
Friend, I would suggest that you and your buddies go pick up a beginner's poker book and study up. Whatever you do, don't move on to Omaha until you get this little issue sorted out....because the next post will be...
I know the board didn't pair, but I have a full house!
Good luck with your buddies.
