Hi-
I've just joined, & this is my 1st post.
I'm a newbie, a raw recruit, a rookie.. and as green as grass.
So please forgive me if my question is a stupid one:-
In any online game such as holdem, where there are a number of players playing against each other at a table, what is to stop a group of say, four or five players, from joining a table and colluding? It would be very easy for the group to keep in touch via, say, MSN Messenger, or even a conference telephone link. Or they could all be playing at the same location!
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

We covered this a little while ago. This should explain why collusion is not as easy as you may think.

Also users from the same IP address are not allowed to play at the same table.
