Blinding bind?

Do you have to post your blinds, when it is your turn, or can you just fold? For me it makes no sense, cause everyone should be folding then :S Someone please explain this to me :/

You can fold, but you still have to post your blind if you're being dealt cards. If you leave the table during blinds and come back later, you have to repost blinds as you re-enter the table.

In ring games, I think it's best to think of blinds as the 'rent' you pay other players for the chance to take their money.

If you are in the blind position and wish to receive cards you MUST pay the blind fee that is appropriate.

If you decide to sit out for that hand, you must pay the blind fee regardless of who is dealer upon your return. (Called a "Dead fee"). This is to prevent people abusing the system and just sitting out on their respective blinds.
