Not at all.

No way, I probably would have just called the preflop raise, not reraise... and since he didn't show strength I woulda just called down like you did. Of course, I don't play NL but that's my reasoning.

I decided to raise on turn for 3 reasons :

1) if he has an Ace there are big chances he reraises all-in and I can fold.

2) I can maybe check behind on river instead of calling a bet that might be larger than $20

3) his bets were real weak

I agree - His continual weak betting seemed to indicate no ace.

postflop is good.

The better the opponent, I usually don't raise QQ there preflop. If Jayjay called your third bet, it makes this hand much harder to play.

FWIW, if i was playing JJ, the turn is fold/push. Generally leaning towards folding against a tighter play like ScanX.

I like the hand through and through. Well-played.

Personally I would've bet that river, I can't seriously put him on a straight because that pre-flop raise (which I liked very much) would hopefully have weeded out 78, 34, or 47.

I also agree with your analysis that an A is unlikely so I'd put him on a pocket pair or a mid-paid with a flush draw (KQ suited, maybe? Unlikely as well imo, so I'd go with a PP since he stayed in the hand with decent size bets being shot at him)

Other than squeezing another chunk out of him on the river (which is perhaps more of a hindsight play) I like the hand.

I think you played the QQ well. Some might have just called his weak bets down in fear of the ace, but reraising here I think is the right option. The only thing I would be worried about is a weak ace, which with the reraising he might have folded.

I think this hand was played very well. I agree with everyone who said the reraise post flop was good. I think if he had the A paired he would have reraised. That was a great move to see if he had caught the A.
