Worst Night of $3/$6 Ever |

These hands pretty much sum up the night. I was on the loosest table imaginable, thanks to the maniac on my right, who normally I'm happy to have around so I can isolate and take his money. Tonight, though, no isolation plays are working.
Hand 1:
UTG makes it a live $6. The maniac on my right raises in the dark to a dead $9. I am dealt the A  K . I cap the pot. Everyone folds to the SB, who calls. BB calls. UTG calls. Maniac calls. What a pot!
Flop: K  Q  4 
SB and BB check. UTG bets. Maniac raises in the dark, still not having looked at his cards. I raise to $9. SB calls, BB calls, UTG folds, Maniac caps. I call, SB calls.
Turn: 7
SB checks. Maniac finally looks at his cards and checks. I bet. SB calls, Maniac calls.
River: 10
SB and maniac check to me. I bet one more time. SB raises. Maniac folds. I know before the cards are turned that I'm cooked. But I call, just because there's so much money out there. SB turns over A J for the nut straight, catching his gutshot on the river. Bastard.
Hand 2:
I'm in LP, there have been 4 limpers, and the Maniac raised to $6. I look down on Q Q and re-raise to $9, hoping to isolate. Every limper calls, and maniac caps. Everyone calls.
Flop: Q 7 6
3 limpers check. MP bets. Maniac raises. I smooth call with intent to raise on the turn (the maniac would often slow down if I re-raised, and I wanted to ensure a bet on 4th street). 1 limper (we'll call him the MORON) and the bettor call.
Turn: 10
Moron checks, MP checks, maniac bets, I raise. Moron and MP call, Maniac just calls.
River: J
S**t. I already know I'm screwed. Moron leads off betting. MP calls, Maniac folds. I call, hoping against hope my set holds up. Nope. Moron turns over AK for the runner-runner nut straight. MP shows AA. F**k!!!
Hand 3:
I'm on the button with A A Everyone fols to the maniac, who raises to $6. I re-raise to $9. BB calls, Maniac caps, I call, BB calls.
Flop: 10 4 2
BB checks, Maniac bets, I raise. BB calls, Maniac calls.
Turn: Q
BB checks, Maniac checks, I bet, they both call.
River: 6
BB checks, Maniac checks, I bet, BB calls, Maniac folds. BB turns over Q6 for runner-runner two pair, and she couldn't look happier as she claps her hand and rakes a pot she never should have been in. F**k again.
Hand 4:
I get A Q on the button. The maniac is sitting out at the moment. 3 Limpers. I raise. SB, BB, and the limpers call. One of the limpers is the MORON from hand 2.
Flop: Q 10 9
Everyone checks to me. I bet. 3 callers including moron call.
Turn: A
Everyone checks to me again. I bet. Moron calls, 2 other guys call.
River: J
Are you kidding me? Everyone checks to me, and I check, assuming I'm beat. I am, but not in the way I expected. Moron shows QQ for a set. Wtf is he doing? I guess I'm lucky he decided not to raise me with the best hand, either before the flop, on the flop, on the turn, or the river! Dammit!!!!
Hand 5 (Last hand):
I get K K in MP. Maniac raises. I re-raise. 2 callers, Maniac caps, the 3 of us call.
Flop: 10 6 2
Checked to maniac. He bets, I raise. 2 guys call. Maniac re-raises. I cap. 2 idiots call.
Turn: 3
Checked around to me. I bet. 3 callers.
River: 5
Checked around to me. I bet. 2 idiots fold, maniac raises. I call in disgust, and he shows 9 4 for the busted flush draw with the inside straight made runner-f**king-runner.
Yeah, those hands pretty much sum up the night. What else could I have done though?
