I'm heading to Vegas in earlt April and was curious if anyone had any comments on the various rooms there. Where is the best NL hold em tourneys? Anyone?
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Lemme' know when you come to town! Actually, I think teh WSOP should be going in full force around that time... you should play the cash side games during the tourney. Or even better, play the satellites for the NL tourneys. We'll probably learn later in the month where they are actually planning to hold the world series.

I had heard about Binion's and how they closed but then Harrah's (I think) bought them out. Is the 2004 WSOP not going to be at Binion's? Will it still be downtown or do you think they would move it to the Strip? I ask because I just booked my trip for mid-May and I thought it was still going to be at Binion's (I'm booked at the Nugget).

Oops, forgot. Just yesterday a guy at a game I was at said that there is a good NL Hold 'Em tourney on Friday nights at the Bellagio. He said it was a $500 buy-in and said it had a really nice payoff to the winner.

Check out Binion's web site for WSOP satalites. I am planning on playing one when there in March, 100 players, $125 buy in, 10 tables, play on a single table until one remains and then take the winners from each table and play a final table for the seat.
I am not planning on being in Vegas for the WSOP, but if I can win a seat I guess I would make an exception.
