Parking in AC

Posted Tue Aug 23, 2005 11:08 pm GMT by weirdofreek
I am going to AC over labor day weekend. My question is what is parking like there? Do the casinos have enough parking? or should I park some where else and walk to them.

I always just park in the garage, never parked on the streets.

The parking garages should be able to accomodate the hoilday weekend traffic.

Just a heads up, if you by chance go to Borgota and leave, don't forget to ask for a transfer. By paying the $5 parking fee at Borgota, you can use the transfer to park for free at I believe any of the other casinos (I used my transfer at the Trop.)

Also, parking is normally $10 at the Trop but with a poker club card, it's only $4 or maybe 46, can't remember.

Also, the Showboat and Sands have free parking if you are a card holder. At the Sands you pay, get a card, and when you leave they'll refund your money. We went to the Showboat without a card, and the attendant just let us in for free anyway.

As Launchpad said, if you are casino hopping, always get that transfer.

I don't know about Labor Day, but Memorial Day weekend pretty much every casino raised thier pakring to 10 dollars, so I'd check to see if that will be the case for Labor Day.

Other than that, at pretty much every casino it is 4 or 5 dollar parking, with the Trop being the exception (but you pay when you leave so get a poker card or comp card and it will be more reasonably priced).
