This is my second post on this forum, so i though i'd share one of my worse beats....
$50 buy in, No limit Tourny at a Friends house... 40 People, and I had a healthy stack...
I was on the button and it was folded around to me, and I peeked at my cards, 2  4  ... Cheap to call, so i Limp... the small and big blind call and check...
The flop comes down:
3 -A  -5
I could hardly contain myself!!! hit the nut straight with no flush possibilities... small blind checks, big blind bets the pot... I called, and small blind folds... The turn card is a Q ... My opponent bets the size of the pot, I raise, and he goes all in...
He tells me, "You shoulda folded when you had the chance..." I tell him, "why am i gonna fold the nuts?" and flip over my cards... He was stunned... He had A5
The rivers comes... 5!!!!
full house beats my nuts on the flop... complete bull.. that took down 3/4 of stack, and I was out of the tournament 15-20 minutes later...
