Say the blinds are 300/600 in a tournament and it's after the flop. If a player want to bet does he have to bet the mininum blind amount of $300 or can he just bet whatever he wants, say $50.00? Thanks.

Minimum bet= Big Blind

Also the minimum raise/re-raise = the amount of the most recent bet or raise.
example BB = 300
Player calls 300
next player raises to 700
a reraise must be at least 400 etc.
