Limit game/short - raise
Limit game/full - raise
NL Game/short - raise
NL Game/full - raise

I think I see a theme developing here ...

Raise, maybe limp-raise.

Yeah, I'd almost always come out raising with AK from EP, no matter the game.

Only time I won't raise AK in EP is if I plan on limp/raising all-in in a tourny. But it its a tight table, always raise.

I always raise but AK can get u in serious trouble if u miss the flop.

And you have an unhealthy, emotional attachment to premium hands.

for low limit play, raising is a better strategy. in the higher limits limping, reraising, limp reraising, and smooth-calling can all be argued for.

Have u also suffered from trying to back up your pre flop raise when u completely missed the flop with AK?

Against aggressive idiots that will re-bluff a CB when they have position on you, raising AK from up front is pointless.

I usually don't raise it from EP at an aggressive table, but anything past MP1 I usually toss in my standard raise.

AK is much easier to play OOP against aggressive players, and much easier to play IP against passive ones.
