Full house vs. Full house vs Four of a kind.
I wasn't involved in this one but the board came in this order:
T3TTK
There were three guys playing all the way to the river with nominal betting. Blinds were .25/.50 by the way. Before the river the top bet may have been $3-5 or so.
SB had AK, next guy had K something and dealer had TJ or TQ. Kx bet $5 with a full boat. Dealer raised to $15 with four of a kind. SB called. Kx re-raised all-in. Dealer called. SB thought and thought and thought and said, "If you have the T I have to pay to see it because if you don't, worse case is I am splitting it with someone." So he called.
For .25/.50 blinds I think the pot was over $50 at the end.
P.S. sorry using "Quads" in the title I ran out of space. I hate that term.

we play .25/.50 in the hom games I play in all the time because none of us really have jobs and don' have much money. Trust me you don't have to have hands like that get pots that big. One guy that plays with us always gets in big hands with me, we have had numerous hands over $50, but never with hands like that. Man that guy with the T must have felt great when the guys raised all in. I mean it is always nice when people bet into you and you have the nuts

Yeah we've been playing .25/.50 for with an initial $20 buy-in and unlimited re-buys when you're short stack for about four years or so. There are always a few hands that are large every night. By large I mean greater than $25-$30. But the way this one happened lol. It'll be classic. Almost as good at the AA vs Q9 and 999 came on the flop.

Turn: A
River: A
Then you know the poker gods hate (or love) you.

Ha ha no. My brother got it against his high school friend and was drunk and got all up in his face. He was yelling, "beat this a**hole. Beat this." Because his friend is quite possibly the second worst poker player we know. He really sucks and get lucky all the time. Thankfully not against me so I invite him because he's dead money. But he is kryptonite to my brother's superman every time. Every time.
So taken into account how he was acting and the fact 999 came with no help after. It was one of those "priceless" moments.
