Hi
I'm a bit of a newbie and been playing online for about 40 h.
On a 1$/2$ with fixed limit, what is considered to be a
fair hourly winning rate.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

You're doing pretty good if you can win one big bet to one big bet and a half per hour. At 1/2 tables, this translates into $2 - $2.50 per hour!

Last night I played at the Taj Mahal and won 510 playing 10/20 in three hours. Is this good, I thought so!!!! I left because it is hard going to AC with non-playing poker buddies.

How would the win rate translate to a no limit game?
(say $1 big blind with $100 max table stake like the games at ultimate bet?)

The table I was at I should have, but I decided to keep to my promise of meeting my friends over at Trumps Marina where there is no poker
Funny thing is I never get cocky, but that Sat night I got up and thanked the table for funding my mother's day gift!!!!! Do you think that was rude of me?
