I get so confused when I watch this happen on TV. Someone looks at their hole cards, likes them and says "All-in" They end up losing. However, they are not out??? How are they not out if they lost while going all in. I always see this happen on WPT etc. I get so confused...
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

The reason the other player was not knocked out was due to the fact he had more chips then the guy who called him on his all in bet. An all in bet as you know means that the guy bets everything he has. Well if someone calls him but has less chips, then the bet is reduced to match what the calling player has. I hope this makes sense to you and anyone else who might read this post,,,lol.
