I like it - Open ended, flush draw, over card. Rock n' Roll.

No matter what the opponent has, you have outs! :D

Salche I think it was a great play myself. You had a flush draw with plenty of outs. I think you picked a great time to push it.

A little over bet don't ya think? 538 into a pot of 150?

If you knew someone would call then very good push. If not, you threw away a very strong drawing hand for the blinds + a limper. I would have tried a check / raise all in or something to build the pot first.

Since your shortstacked, I'd just check it and hope the bigger stacks tries to bully. Doesn't matter much if it checks down and you have to push on the turn anyway.

If you know you will get callers, good move. Smile

yes a big overbet but i think the only bet possible ... frankly id rather see folds, take down the pot and have some more ammo so that i can play a hand post flop some other time

plus im almost even money if i have most of my outs left

Being short-stacked you aren't going to get a much better oppurtunity to double than this. You have 15 outs not counting the extra two jacks for top pair or the extra 2 7's for bottom piar.

I'd love to be called in this position. You have about a 54% chance of hitting one of your 15 outs and if you get a caller with just overcards you have 19 outs with a 65% chance of hitting.

I want some action on this hand in your position not just a pot of 150.

I like the push. You're a favorite to win over almost any hand other than a made straight or a set (or higher flush draw), and with 538 chips left, this is a great spot to try and double up, or steal a pot full of much-needed blinds.

good to hear support for the push, but i appreciate the criticism too ... sometimes my game gets too aggressive and i need to get sat down for a bit

i pushed and he called with a made straight with 710 and i didnt improve

I like the push. Many times you'll find the player (or two or three) trying to keep the shortstack honest, even if they only have meager starters. This is why shortstack plays, with less than monster hands, can be quite successful.

Pretty much the worst case scenario, but you still had 9 outs to win (Don't know if his 7 or 10 containted any diamonds) and a 10 out to tie.
