i am feeling that my bet on the flop was pathetic, taking in to consideration that there were still three people in the hand.
but then would i have been able to push any of them out of the hand seeing as we all had aces?
whatever though, i still feel like i played AKs far too weak here.
rape and pillage this hand as you see fit peeps.

did i give these people the right odds to call my raises?
edit/
should i just have checked the turn and see who raised now that the hand had got that far, and there was a flush possibility on the board?

u should have bet more on flop.
however this is micro limit...it's hard to make anyone fold
checkin the turn wasnt a good option as u can still believe at that point that u have the best hand.
Had u been raised on turn u can start to assume that someone is holding set/2 pairs (or maybe straight)

Gotta agree with you, the bet on the flop needed to be more. You have to make it incorrect for someone with a flush draw to call on the flop. You asked...

...and I think that it doesn't matter if you could push them out. You gotta make it wrong and unprofitable for them to draw on you. The pot was $0.52 on the flop, so you bet of $0.16 was only 1/3rd of the pot. A person on a flush draw assumes that they have a 35% chance of winning with that draw, so giving them those odds makes it profitable for them to call. Especially considering their implied odds if they hit, and especially when it's a three-way pot and someone's drawing to the nut flush.
Even if you bet $0.50 on the flop, they're still be getting the exact odds to call and it's a judgement call on their part based on whether they want to incur the risk. If you wanted to protect your hand, you should've bet more than the pot. A bet of $1 would've made it quite incorrect for them to call. That was an excellent flop except for the flush draw, so that was your only consideration barring some freak A7, A5, 55, or 77, so you wanted to protect it.
The real problem is that no matter what you bet, if the second player called, player 3 was getting correct odds to call on the flop. So if he stayed in on the flop, and the turn wasn't a diamond, you'd need to bet the pot on the turn to make it incorrect again for a flush draw to call. In these multiway pots with draws in them, sometimes you just can't get the draw out because of stupid plays after your bet. And sometimes someone gets top pair with top draw and they aren't going anywhere, so you just have to hope that the draw doesn't hit, but by betting correctly you make it profitable for yourself in the long run.

No way. You hit top two. I wouldn't be scared of the runner-runner 'til someone makes a big raise. Bet more on the flop, that's about it.

But realize that the guy who hit the nuts flush probably wouldn't be laying his hand down as he also had top pair. So, pot odds (in this case) are out the window, especially at microlimit.
