Correct Play?

ok.. small buy in MTT

Pocket 7's on the button ... 2 limpers so I just call to see if I can match my set for cheap blinds call and check.

I hit my set... and take it from there.... I want to know if my raise was appropriate and what I can do differently next time. Raise preflop with 77 from the button? I'm not sure what to do with middle pp preflop. I've been busted both raising and limping...

I thought I raised enough to scare off any straight or flush draws... but every single one of them called... the 8 I didn't want to see....

The guy made his straight with the 8 so I made the correct play in folding. Another called with two pair and flush draw and got his flush to take the pot.

Call the river bet. At worst, you're about 40% to win, at best you're a huge favourite. Call the river bet next time.

Tough hand. With 3 limpers plus the blinds, that flop is going to fit very well for alot of hands.

You flopped the best hand and got burned by the river. The only thing that may have saved you here is a very big re-raise on the flop, if not a push. Had you only been up against one oppenent, you raise would have been fine. But with 3 guys already in for 120 you will have to go big to push them all out.

In a cheap MTT though, if you pushed all-in here, you'd still probably get a caller or two draw to the straight or flush.
