Have any of you ever experienced lousy dealers at the casinos? Last weekend I got a string of them. My definition of a lousy dealer is someone who turns a lot of cards over accidentally and/or misdeals the hand. Man this pi$$e$ me off!

Most of the dealers I've had (in my very limited playing time) don't misdeal or expose cards that much but often when people "just after the button" get knocked out of a tourney, the position of the button and the blinds throws them for loop. Often it leads to a 3 minute arguement over where the button should be, etc.
What gets me is them commenting on the cards. The other day after the fourth heart came out on the turn, one said; "Look what we have here." I'm sure everyone was aware but still it is possible someone would be so fixated on that A that they might not notice it at that moment.

I have a post "dealer mistakes" a few lines down from this one. I played at Turning Stone (upstate NY) a few weeks ago, and the dealer at my table screwed up what seemed like every other hand. During a break I heard people from other tables making comments about how bad the dealers were as well.
What was worse was the fact that whenever the dealer messed up he tried to blame the players. I was so pissed that I almost went the tourny director and demanded my back. LOL...yeah like that would ever happen.

myonker, Do you remeber your dealers name? Was he young or middle aged. Bah i can't rember mine but he was screwing up and bitching at me for it. Like my chips on the rail forced the cards to flip over and stuff. Tall guy spikey hair. Thin. Kinda long in the face. Talked with a low voice and kinda had not realy a lisp but something sluring his words slighty. anywho back to topic...lol

Happend to me tonight. Sitting in BB i get dealt my second card and the dealer flips it over A of spades, so im like ahh crap. Then i look at the first card he dealt me. A of clubs. WoW, there goes my rockets. So i get the burn card and its a 8. No help, i muck after the flop. I would have won the pot too, some guy won it with Queens.

i thought it was up to the player if they wanted to keep the exposed card or use the burn card and muck the exposed card. Ive seen in some casinos. a player choose to keep a flipped over card instead of taking the first burn card.
