Everyone knows that you can't get all of your money in preflop with the best hand and still win. Confused
Actually, I feel for you. However, in both hands it was a race and the fact that the card came on the river made it seem worse because you had to have gotten your hopes up when you were still ahead on the turn.
Sorry about your luck on those hands.

Perhaps my wording was faulty here. What I meant by a race was that all of the action was complete and you were at the mercy of the cards to come. I didn't mean even-steven coin flip.
