So I play a 10$ SNG. I barely make it into the last three because the bigstack in front of me always folds his blinds to me. By some weird freak of nature I end up bigstacked.
So I get AJ when the blinds are high and push, shortstack calls with 10-8 and wins the hand.
I get AT on the next hand, I push again, and once again I lose to 10-8o.
Well, happy because I made no. 3 against all odds, but slightly bitter for the suckouts I sit down at a 6-max table.
2 hands in I get 10-8o in the BB, 3 limpers.
Flop is 6-7-9 rainbow.
Checks to to me, I bet half my stack just for the hell of it, UTG goes all in (I think he had a couple of jacks), and...well...that just made my day really.

My favorite hand is 108s, but I'm not a huge fan of 108o but I've seen it win quite a few times.

Do I sense some sarcasm zero?
I'm not saying that I'm going to call a 4xBB or more preflop raise with it, but it's one of those sneaky hands that whispers "play me" in my ear. It seems to work for me quite often, but is also an easy hand to get away from if it doesn't hit. I know many people who love the 79. Mine is just one step up from that and (when it's spades) has seemed to pay me well.
I think I like this hand mainly because in the regular group that I play I'm considered a rock so it's not a hand that someone will put me on and therefore will never see it coming when it hits.

No, u don't sense sarcasm BeerWench. I almost always play 10 8 unless theres a big raise.
Had lots of luck on that hand. 8)
Just shocked that some1 else likes it so much....
