I think this was my 3rd or 4th entry into the Canterbury Card Room Wednesday night Limit Tourney yesterday. This was a $100 + $20 event with 121 players. (Full field is usually 132) My best finish to date was in the mid 20's at this tourney.
I managed to play my way to the final table with a decent stack and stay alive long enough to take 3rd place! :D Pretty exciting making the final table in a live tourney for the second time in the last 4 months. This was a sweet finish as this is my "Home" casino and there were a handfull of players watching that I have either played or will go up against in the near future.

Well, I just want to say Thanks to DaveB for all the advice and coaching over the last year. Both here, on Party Poker and over lunch at the Chineese Buffet! Without it, I'd need at least 2-3 more years to figure it out on my own, or go broke trying.
Now I need to nail down a win!

Hope this means you're buying lunch next time ... I'd take him to Mickey Ds and let him supersize ... er, upgrade.
