Saw these chips the other day on their site. They look like chipco's. Anyone know anything about them, they are way cheaper. Very appealing....thinking of getting some.

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Yes, they do look like Chipcos and that is probably their intent. A couple of things would raise my suspicions though. First of all, retailers who sell custom Chipco designs, like homepokerchips.com, do not hesitate to represent the product as being manufactured by Chipco. Secondly, the spin on Chipco's ProTech™ name with the CasinoTek™ leads me to believe that they are made by some other company. Most notably, the 'standard' edge designs are unlike anything from Chipco. I'd be inclined to think that they're being made by another manufacturer of ceramic type chips.
