P.S. I had pocket Ace's

I flopped a King High Straight Flush once. I missed the high hand jackpot at UB by 11 minutes
It is a cool feeling though when you flop something that can't possibly be beat!! I let the dude make a hand and got a lot of bets from him on the turn and river.

I flopped a royal flush against Adam (the other admin here) when playing him heads up.
To make it even more painful, he had a lower flush. And he dealt that hand.
This was a little more than a year ago.

In one hand we flopped 3 aces, turn J, and the river was another ace. We ended up splitting the pot though because nobody had anything higher than a jack

I can cover one of my biggest flops and laydowns in the same post.
Tourney play:
Got KK in hole, one person ahead of me bets big, I call (all others fold)
Flop: KKA, other player makes moderate/large bet, I go over top 2x, figure I'll milk him as he likely has an Ace... he calls.
Turn: A, he goes all in quickly, I get a funny feeling cuz he's been real tight till now. I think about it, and think more, recall other like situations where I got beat in similar situations and make a decision to fold as I still have a OK stack left. I show my KK, and he showed me his AA. I'm glad he flip'um or else I wouldn't have gotten sleep that night second guessing myself.
A good bail out in the end, but damn it hurts to laydown Quad Kings!

I'd never lay down quad kings or any four of a kinda for that matter. Even if i knew they had a better hand. 8)

In a recent UB Sit n Go, I held cowboys and the flop came KK7. I milked it totally and took out 2nd place and really hurt a couple of others giving me about half the chips on the table with 9 ppl left in I won that one quite easily from there 8)

once flopped a 9-high straight flush, the turn made it 10-high

Biggest flop I ever saw was when my opponent flopped a six high straight flush. I had the unsuited ace and made the wheel on the flop as well (flop was 234 diamonds). Fourth diamond came on turn and I got busted when he raised me all in on the river. I never even considered that he had been sitting on the straight flush since the flop. I told this story in more detail in the bad beats section.
Another time I rememer I was in the big blind with J2 off and nobody raised, about 4 people limped in. Flop was J22 so I had a full boat. One guy made a fairly weak bet so I put him on either a 2 or a jack so I raised all in, being fairly short stacked at the time. I was mildly surprised when he rolled pocket jacks after calling my all in, I can tell you.

Unfortunately playing heads-up against a very tight player who didn't improve, but once flopped 10-high straight flush.

Best ive ever floped was a four of a kind (7's) while in big blind with a 7s,2s suited in my hand. I wish the 7,2 was offsuit just to make it that much sweeter.

I flopped four aces and got payed big time. nicest hand I ever had.

I was in a hand where a guy flopped a full house agains a guy with a backdoor flush...Q6 suited in his pocket and 333 on the board. The full boat guy had 88 in the hole. Q6 goes all in with the short stack trying to scare off 88, who quickly called. Turn was a blank and the river hit 3, giving Q6 the higher kicker.

I was in a hand 2 days ago when someone flopped the str8 flush w/ J 9 or J8. The boarded paired and someone made a boat. That was an expensive boat for him on a 5/10 table. The str8 flush slow played it to perfection.

I played last night, holding AQd, flop comes 2s2dKd.
Checks to me, I put out a good bet and get a few calls.
Turn 10 diamonds. 2 guys call.
River 7 spades. everyone checks to me. bet a good amount, not all in because I want a few callers for my Ace high flush.
I got it. Guys with 2 2 flopped 4 of a kind, slow played it to perfection, and took my money.

A home game table I play a lot at has a bad beat jackpot to cover those. $1 out of every $20 goes to the bad beat. It got paid out once with the worlds stupiest bad beat (4 queens on the board, one player had a K, the other an A) but it's back up to around $600 again in about 3 months. You need Aces full over 9's or better and have to use one hole card. In our game you would of wanted to call it because you probably would of made money by being beat.
The other nice thing about the bad beat is it helps us keep track of the money that gets cashed in at the table, one night we had over $2400 cashed in.

When we play, both hole cards have to be in play for it to be a bad beat.

I think most casinos have that rule too.

Had AQh in my hand, flop came out K,J,10h. My heart leapt up to my throat, and I had to check the hand. Checked it twice, and no one would bite, so on the river I went with a max bet.($5) Just a family game, so really wasn't a good test. But in a no-limit game, I might have bet the minimum on the turn, and see if I could get a raise or a call.

After going in my entire holdem career without getting quads i finally flopped em last week. Was holding pockets jacks in hand, flop comes J A J. The A along w/ my quads made em even better, since i thought the other player had one. He did. I checked, he bet. Turn comes rag. I check he bets. River comes another Aces. I go all in, he quickly calls.
I show my Jacks, and win a damn nice hand.

Hmmm...I don't remember ever flopping quads, but I just flopped a full boat last weekend with 69 when the board came 969. Unfortunately, I bet min. and three people folded. Not fun.

Flopped quad 6s in a B&M game with a flop of 667, turn came 7 and to
say the least I got into a raise war with the guy to my right, after several raises back and fourth I call. River card comes and after two re-raises from him on the river I decided oh boy I'm f'd and called to see his nice pocket sevens.
Another hand at a B&M I had AKd on the button and had 6 to see the flop of 10Jd and a rag card. Five people saw it to the river with at least one raise on the flop and turn. River comes and I have nothing but a busted flush, straight, royal flush. Gets checked to me and I check, I take down a close to 300 pot (5-10) with an ace high. Craziest hand I've ever seen.

In my short life, I flopped four 4 of a kinds (that I remember): Ks, Ts, 7s, 6s.
The 6s were in a casino, slow played them but the others had crap, so even a single bet scared everyone off.
The others happened online, all within the same week or two. No need to say that I haven't got one since...

Just flopped Quad Queens this AM at UB .10/.25 NL
I'm holding QQ holes and was raised 2x preflop by big stacked player, I called and 3 of us saw the flop which was 7QQ
I'm first to act now and check, 2nd guy checks, big stack raises 3x BB. Now I've only played about 8 hands at this table, but already a few people made comments about this guy being loose and a pot buyer. I hesitate and call, other player folds. Rag come on turn, I check, dude bets 10x BB. I type in chat "does this guy like to bluff alot?" and get a few yeahs. I hesitate and type in "I guess we'll see" and go over the top all-in (only another $4.50 at this point). Forget what river is and double up. He mucked, so I don't know what he held.
Wished that happened more often.

10 minutes ago a guy flopped a straight flush against my flopped nut flush.

i can't remember the biggest flop I ever say, but I can remember the biggest one I ever folded. I get 33 early. I pay to see the flop, but there's a raise and a re-raise behind me, so I fold. Original raiser re raises again. Flop comes 3A3. Turns out the re raiser had pocket rockets.

Last night in a NL Tourney I was in the BB and was dealt Pocket 2's. Were about 3 callers so I checked, Flop came 2-2-4. I checked and the Button came out betting. I called, Turn came K, I checked, he Bet I called. River came K, I bet out big, he folded and I showed him my 2's.

Just had AJ in a ring game, flop came AAA. Another guy tried to represent the A' so I just kept calling his raises, then when he checked on the river I raised and he folded.
