5-5NL live:
me: covers
villain: $700
I open in late position $35 w/K 7 , get min-raised by uncreative player to $75 in the CO. folded back to me. I call.
Flop: ($160) 7 -7 -8
he bets $200, i call instantly.
Turn: ($560) 5
i lead for $300, he pushes, i insta-call. He asks if i have AA. I say i have a seven, he is not happy.
i face a lot of min-raises in online games (rarely do i see them live). Be careful of when to use them.

nice catch, what did u have him on to call with K7? Or did you think u could bluff him out later if you missed.
Calling there and hitting could re-enforce bad play , guess it was only $40 more.

So he min raised with KK? It's his own fault, there's not many hands I'd lay down to a minimum raise once I'm already in the pot.

I min raise or limp a lot in EP with big hands, but rarely min-reraise.
he only exception would be heads up in the money late in a tourney when I am trying to break someone and the blinds are very high.

If he is dumb enough to MIN RE-raise, he deserves it. What does he think this is, a limit game? The very purpose of NL is that you can put your opponent to a real decision. He put you to very little decision with 3-to-1 on your money there, especially if he knows you're capable of taking him off a hand if he misses. I'm amazed how few players seem to realize that evety card that falls off the deck weakens a big pair significantly. If there's already like $45 in the pot, I don't mind taking it down with KK right there.
Like Dave said, I don't mind a min raise to open with a lot of players left, or against tight players, but I would almost never min RE-raise.
