and an open ended straight draw if i need one more card is about 5/1... yeah?

can someone tell me the odds for a gutshot straight draw... and a normal straight draw?
and also the odds for if you need one more card for a full house...

i have searched for this info... but i cant find it.

Just use the 4/2 rule:

Number of outs multiplied by 4 on the flop gives odds for hitting on the turn OR river card.

Number of outs multiplied by 2 on the turn gives odds for hitting on the river card.

So:

Up-and-down straight draw = 8 outs so about 32% on the flop, 16% on the turn

Gutshot straight draw = 4 outs so about 16% on the flop, 8% on the turn

Flush draw = 9 outs so about 36% on the flop and 18% on the turn

The 4/2 rule is quick and dirty and doesn't give perfect percentages but it's useful when you have to make a quick decision.

And it is, for almost any situation, close enough (e.g. 35% instead of 36% on the flop for a flush draw). The fewer the outs, the more accurate it is.

Unless I'm mistaken, the accurate formula is:

(1-((47-Outs)/47) * ((46-Outs)/46))*100

To make your hand on the turn or river and

Outs/46*100

to make your hand on the river.
