I hate the way people ignore the importance of consistency in poker. E.g. The winner of this SnG must be the best of all those who entered and must make the most money.
But it’s even worse on TV when someone says “Lets make this the final hand, winner take all!”. What kind of opportunity for skill do you get there? You’re just playing a 2 card lottery.
I think the reason is that it’s more dramatic than saying “Lets record our next 1000 game results and whoever increase theuir bankroll by the highest percentage wins”.

I will have to admit that the dude was rather humble. He knew I had his balls in a vice on all 3 and he should have even been in it.
