I call straddle near the disk w/5d 2d and bb raps. family pot, i think. . .
Flop: ($28 ) 8 6 4
tight player from EP/MP leads for $20. . . .I've gone to heaven. I have table covered and tight player is sitting on $300 ($280 after the bet)
anywho, raise now or raise later?
sorry i haven't been reading. .. my work blocks the site so no TH-P during 8-6 EDT.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

you have 2-way str8 draw and flush draw... you have a lot of outs... you re-raise now and try to pick up the point and not let him know you have a flush draw.
if you hit the turn then bingo for you. if you miss, you can either check it or fire at the pot again.. its hard to play early position so another option is just flat calling and chase it down.

Reraising tight players is a little scary for me, is he the type to get nuts and move in on you or the type that might just pop you back?
Any thoughts to him having AdKd here?
If he's not the type to get nuts I'd raise here for sure.
