The starbursts don't have spots

That could be a little difficult to next to impossible depending upon what you're looking for. As Paulson no longer sells retail chips, you wouldn't be able to get them with your own hotstamp, and the only ones that you would find are the used ones being sold on the secondary market. There are various ones including the ones with the cancellation mark (sunburst) that show up from time to time on auction sites like eBay, though the frenzy for anything associated to Paulson tends to create someone unreasonable prices. Have you considered comparable quality chips from some of the other compression molded chip manufacturers like TR King, ASM, or Blue Chip? Plain or plain unspotted hotstamped new chips (with your own hotstamp) from vendors like TR King or ASM can generally be had in the 50¢ neighborhood or about 1/3 of the prevailing market price for used Paulson chips. Not sure of what Blue Chip might charge, I would imagine that it should be in the same general neighborhood.
