You showed weakness on the turn. He made the right play.
He prolly caught a flush on the turn but either way, its a fold now I believe.
With the his chip stack, this hand was going to end up all-in on the turn or river either way. If you continue firing on turn you would have to bet out at least 500 which would commit you to calling his push.

agreed ... given stack sizes there wasnt much you could do here ... if he had more chips, you could justify a turn bet and then folding to a raise

What are you on UB???
The only free-roll I've played in a long time was directly after this tournament, I ended up out in 87th after my KK went down to JJ flopped set. I was mad so I saw that freeroll and decided I would screw around.
I ended up doubling up early against a maniac, then kinda half-payed attention/half-goofed off.
