No, I cannot say I would have played it too differently. Your set was obviously the nuts off the flop, but with the flush draw out there you have to make it very expensive for him to chase...which you did. He had to pay $17.50 to hit his draw and even if he did hit his heart draw, there are two of those that give you the winner.
Nice play, just unlucky.

Guy probably had a straight draw and a flush draw. Even though you've got top set, he's got tons of outs if he has a hand like Q J T 6
Any heart will give him the nut flush - 9 outs
Any Q, J, or Ten will give him the nut straight - 8 more outs
On the turn, if he does have TJ, he just picked up 3 more outs to a straight.
Tough hand, you bet the best you could and he paid alot to hit his draw.

Don't forget to include the two hearts ( 9 & 8 ) that would have paired the board and given Skribs the nut boat. - 7 flush outs.

I didn't subtract them because his opponent, being the donk that he is, didn't put Skrib on a set. Therefore in his mind, any heart was good even though we know two of them are bad.

Ahh, I smell what you're cooking. Freaking donks!
Speaking of donks, did you see that Sheikman a-hole on the WSOP last night doing the "stroking it" motion when Raymer got a standing ovation?

Yeah, that guy is a real piece of crap. He makes Arieh from last year look like a prince.

There are some situations in Omaha in which you are your opponent would both put all your chips in the middle, even if you could see the other guy's hand. Most often it's with a hand like top set against a flush draw + a wrap straight draw... I'd say you did everything right here Skribbles. You took the lead with the best hand, and gave him very unfavorable odds going to the river; you got your money in with the best hand, so what else can you do?
After reading the results, your opponent was an idiot. Keep playing the way you did Skribbles and you will be fine.

He was a donk in the truest form. I took my money right back from him 4 hands later.
I'm still unsure on how to play certain hands in Omaha. I thought I played this right as I was pretty sure he was drawing to a flush and I wanted him to pay.

Does anyone know the odds on the turn if villain has TJ and 2 hearts in his hand?
I'm lazy.
