so i was playing in my first backroom (very exciting) it was 1/1 $30 min buy in so i pick up A 10off guy in front raises $7 i call and so does another guy flop comes 6h 10d 3h . small blind checks guy infont of me goes all in $15 i raise $35 more im all in. small blind calls a $50 raise to him with a low flush draw and catches the heart on the river. i was wondering did i play the 10 to hard or was i just playing agaisnt a jackass i figerd $50 was enogh to push a guy off a draw when he only had $60

If you set down and do the math on this you can see you clearly gave the guy about 2:1 pot odds to call with a flush draw.

Then prepare to say "f*ck my bankroll".


I don't typically play A-10 to a raise unless I have a good read on my opponents and I have position. The way this hand was played by your opponents, I would have guess at least one of them had J's or better. Don't fall too in love with TPTK, especially when that top pair is just 10's.

agreed ... A10 to a big raise doesn't look so great ... im surprised you werent up against an overpair here
