Is it just me or do others have trouble figuring out what the chip values are at the various broadcast tournaments? It seems as if they never give the chip values (rare exceptions), don't discuss when the table has colored up, etc. While they give chip counts, I get a visual impression of standings by the size of the chip stacks as the camera pans the table, but it is difficult to gauge status.
In one tournament they showed a hand and a lot of chip stacks appeared and the next hand they broadcast had much smaller stacks all around (they'd obviously colored up) but no mention of what happened. It was kind of jarring.
