In Phil Gordon's Little Green Book there is a strategy he terms Big Online Winner style for NL Hold'em. The strategy abuses all-in to guarantee wins in the long run.
The basic strategy is:
1) See many flops cheaply
2) Massively overbet with some premium draws
3) Massively overbet with the nuts or the best hand
The example he uses involves a villian's AK vs our hero's XX where XX is:
A) T 8
B) 8 5
C) 7 7
D) 5 9
There is $500 in the pot. Both players have $5000 chip stacks. The flop comes: A 7 6 . The hero moves all-in for $5000.
The villian is ahead when the hero holds hands A, B, and D. When the hero has hand C, the villian will win about 1% of the time.
If all four hands were played. The following equity would be the hero vs the villian for each hand:
A) 5,019 vs 5,481
B) 3,885 vs 6,615
C) 10,332 vs 168
D) 2,488 vs 8,012
Total: 21,724 vs 20, 276
In other words, the hero earns $1,448 for playing these four hands. In addition, if the hero is not called he wins a pot of $500.
I was curious if anyone has either come across this strategy or tried it? Its completely cheesy and I know it, but money is money and if it works I will be quick to use it...

I don't see what's so remarkable about this...
You make money in hand 'C' because you're massively ahead. You lose money in the rest because you're behind. Also note that heads up 77 is a favorite over AK preflop anyway. I would also note that if his Ace or King were spades, he'd have a couple more outs.
Sure...you have some fold equity with the $500 already in the pot but not much considering you'd likely have a hard time getting someone to fold AK when he flopped his ace.
