WSOP Super Satellite questionsand if so, how |

The WSOP Super Satellites on the Friday before the main event have a $225 buy-in and $200 rebuys. $25 of the original buy-in goes to the house I assume? So does that mean that before ANYBODY rebuys, 1 player in 50 wins a seat to the big show? And then the rebuys just make the "odds" of getting a WSOP seat even better? Is this correct?
How many people enter these Super Satellites? Is it hard to get into these Satellites (i.e. do they fill up fast such that lots of folks are left out?). Can you reserve a SS seat and if so, how? TIA!
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I expect them to fill up pretty fast, and they will likely be limited to 200-250 players. Rebuys add up pretty fast, I would expect the final to be one out of 25-25.
I will be to LV in a few weeks and plan on playing one or 2 $125 satalites. 10 single tables, each champ moves to a final table to play for a single seat.

Thanks Dave. I actually would have rather done what you plan to do but then IF I did happen to win a seat, it would have ended up being two separate trips to Vegas. So I decided to just go out there for the main event and if I don't get a seat, I will still be there for the experience and there will be plenty of games. Wish I had more vacation time though!
Anybody know if you can or how to reserve a seat in a WSOP SS?

Thanks sickity. Actually, I've been checking that site for months and have sent a couple of e-mails to that address. And I've also called the telephone numbers. If it has anything to do with Binion's, I get zero response or no answer on the phone or "This number no longer in service". Notice how Binion's is NOT listed as one of the places to book a room reservation (I'm already booked @ the Nugget).
I sure hope they still have it @ Binion's. According to some article dated Jan. 22, they are still planning to.
Wouldn't be surprised if Bellagio wasn't trying to get it moved to their place for the future. Never been in it, but I've heard that they have an AWESOME Poker Room. I plan to visit it while I'm there.

Last I heard Binions was going to be closed until April. They are still expected to hold the WSOP after reopening. Harrahs acquired them.
