yeah did you see Jennifer Harman get her full house busted on the river she was so pissed off. shame really as she is one of the more pretty poker players.
Monte Carlo Millions Tournament invite only ended with phil ivey taken the final prize of $600,000.
Final hand:
juanda moves all in and is called.
Ivey A 8
Juanda 10 4
board:
2 4 3 Q 5
a few hands before won ivey it though:
juanda Q 6 and moves all in
followed by an instant call by ivey holding KK.
The best tv moment in poker that I have ever seen though:
Down to three with Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott.
Juanda moves all in with A 2
Devilfish calls in the dark with Kd 9d
As he is knocked out he strips off his tuxedo jacket and shows a taped bit of cardboard on his back with his website written on it!
Then the microphone is left on! :D
Ulliot: "Ah f*ck"
"as if I could ever beat John Juanda with Ace f*cking deuce"
"I was up against the two luckist f*ck I've ever seen"
Apparently earlier on the game he also announced how the Americans have killed 69odd of our troops in the gulf war.
but the tourney was so badly done. The game HAD to be finished in 4hrs so the blinds went mental at the end. Funny quote at the end as well by Roy Brindley: "I don't know where phil ivey was when god was handing out emotions if that's how phil looks when he wins over half a million."

So true. The most worked up I've ever seen Phil Ivey get is his half smile after the Freddy Deeb, "Must be the shirt," comment in the 2004 WSOP. That guy's a rock.
What's why I love him. :D

That is one of many things that makes Ivy such a dominant player at the tables. It is so very hard to get a read on a man that shows so very little emotion.
