Party NL100
Read: Villian is nothing but average. Fairly tight post flop. Hasn't shown down many hands and has slowly bleed down from $100 -> $60
Villian: $60
Hero: Covers ( up $125 at the table with what should be a damn good image)
Villian opens for $5 UTG
Dealt to hero AKh in MP and just calls.
-player to my left had be making HUGE pre-flop bets and I wanted him to raise me.... but he folded.
Flop: K Q 7
Villian leads for $10
Hero calls with the intention of raising the turn
Pot = $30
Turn: 2
Villian checks
Hero bets out $20
Villian calls.
This confused the heck out of me. Possible hands I put him on are nothing fancy. AK, AQ, KQ, JJ or with an outside chance at AJ. I couldn't put him on a set as most players would check raise the turn??? Unless he was slowplaying the heck out of it.
River: 5
Villian leads for $25 into a pot of $70.

somethin smells bad in that bet, however I would still call
might be a blocking bet with a worse hand than AK

oooh, donking into you on the river...that's just so wrong on so many levels.

Easy call at this point. I think you should mention that he's all in with that $25 at the end, it is kind of missleading the way you worded it, it looks more like a post oak or value bet this way.
You didn't take charge preflop or on the flop choosing instead to be tricky twice, you now have no idea where you are, however in this case you are getting nearly 4 to 1 on the call.
There are serveral hands that make this move, including missed draws, a pocket pair that did not improve a weaker K or Q and then the hands that have you beat.

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this hand was either JT, or some middling pair. There are a good number of hands that beat you, of course, but just call, and tell him how bad he is when he shows you Q5.

I'd have to call, but that is some odd play from him. You wouldn't think he'd commit himself that much with nothing or a low pair. But you wouldn't think he'd just call after checking it to you with a set. I'd say he's on tilt and was ready to go or he's got 2-pair. Let us know .

I'd fold and then scream "YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW TIGHT A LAYDOWN I JUST MADE!!!"..
yeah i'd prolly just call.

Why didn't you raise pre flop or on the flop? Now you are 2nd guessing a bit eh? Pay him off here cos you have top pair top kicker but next time you may want to find out where you are. Just my thoughts anyway.

As posted above, I had a nutbag to my left who was making huge raises pre-flop. I just called with hopes that the guy would raise it up.... but he folded. I called the flop with hopes of raising the turn. I don't often like to raise the flop. I'd rather wait till the turn to pop someone so that a) they have more invested in the pot and feel more compelled to call with weaker hands and b) if they do fold, its more of a profit for me.
