started playing at stars this week after 6 months at pacific dont know why it took me so long to move from there but so glad i did. anyway i can now see my session stats for the first time.

i know its a very small sample of hands (only 500) but was hopin for a bit of advice on my figures so far. after these hands i was $85 up so it was a winning session playin the .25/.50 tables.

my guess is im still till seeing a few too many flops if so what % should i be aiming for. any imput you guys can give me would be great.

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 500 hands and saw flop:
- 39 out of 63 times while in big blind (61%)
- 23 out of 65 times while in small blind (35%)
- 78 out of 372 times in other positions (20%)
- a total of 140 out of 500 (28%)
Pots won at showdown - 17 of 25 (68%)
Pots won without showdown - 44

ok, just seen this post and thought you deserved at least one reply, after all it's a pretty good question.

i have only just come across this forum, so don't know the site at-all, however most poker forum sites have areas which gives you this info.

in short the answer is simple, but not one you are gonna want to hear.

......it really depends on how tight or loose the table is.

i find that when playing internet poker, you can see 2-3% of the flops and still get plenty of action. this is because lots of players play more than one table and are therefore not watching the in-and-outs of any one game.

if you were playing a table where everyone is focused on the one game, you couldn't do this, as players would fold as soon as you bet.

in short, the looser the table, the more hands (and weaker hands) you can and should play.

i know i haven't answered the question, but i hope it helps

In general the number of flops you see overall looks tight, which is a good first step.

You're winning a lot of pots without a showdown, so you are displaying good aggression - that's also a good start.
