I dabble every once in a while with Pot Limit Omaha. I'm going to be honest when I say I have a very limited understanding of the game. That being said, PLO is next on my list after I get bored with 7CS, and have a book or two to help me grasp the game a little better.
Here is a hand from yesterday...should I even make the preflop call? 10 10 K J double suited isn't that weak is it?
Once the table checked the flop, I decided to bet the turn to see where everyone stood. The original raiser folded, so I thought I just might be ahead. Instead, I got very lucky on the river.

Overall, your opponents played it much worse than you did. You had a good hand pre-flop, but in these low limit often-passive games, I often see players only raise with AAxx. I think your hand was good enough to raise to begin with rather than just calling. It's possible your opponent may then have just called instead of raising.

just used a poker calculator for your hand postflop ...
http://twodimes.net/poker/
Omaha Hi: 820 enumerated boards containing 2s Kd 9d
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Jd Td Kh Th 548 66.83 272 33.17 0 0.00 0.668
As Ac 8c Ad 272 33.17 548 66.83 0 0.00 0.332
when the board paired it puts you further behind, but not out by far
Omaha Hi: 40 enumerated boards containing 2s 2c Kd 9d

I think you played this hand well actually, not betting the flop with a draw is a good pot control method if somebody had of bet. Then small bet the turn. I would've bet more on the river, since hands that are beating you would've bet the flop.
BTW: When you post PLO hands do some pot calculations for us, it helps out a bit.
