I can't dig up the hand history...sorry. This was from a Turbo SnG on Stars. Villain is of average playing ability. Nothing too fancy from him.
Blinds at 50/100. Villain has roughly 2400 in BB. Hero covers.
Dealt to Hero in MP...A A
Folds to Hero who raises 3xBB. Folds to villain who calls.
Flop K Q 3
Villain checks, hero bets 300. Villain Pushes.
Hero...?
This is usually an auto-call from me, but I'm just not comfortable for some reason.
Once again, apologies for no hand history...

I think I'd make the call, I mean why would he make such an overbet if he had you beat? Looks like he doesn't mind taking down the pot on the flop. Lookslike KJ or a flush draw. If he had you beat looks like he had KQ or 33, although I may be way off.

he can easily be making this play with AK, J10, and a whole range of hands that you are ahead of
raise PF 4xBB to make this a little easier
is this the play you've been making a lot of flops like this? if it is, then he may think you are making a continuation bet, which makes this an auto-call/list

Not really. I've been playing 'very rocky' and up to this point, had only shown down winners. I would even flash big hands if I raised preflop and didn't get any action.

tougher spot then, knowing your approx stack size would help too (i know you cover ... but are you going to be crippled if you lose this one?)
If you're going to be left with < 1000 chips, I'm inclined fold to here, but if you'll have closerto 1500, I'm leaning towards calling
When you're playing turbo SnGs like this (or on Party Poker), you will usually have to make calls like these because the villain holds weaker cards normally, but when they don't you're almost always screwed.
Just fire up another if you're beat.

If I call and lose I'm pretty much done.
Dumb move of the day, I call, knowing he has KQ. I need to start listening to my instincts more often.
Dumb play was rewarded when the board paired 3's on the turn and hero goes on to win. Yay~

I dunno, is it so bad? I think its good as gold.
People could very well do this with a lone king in the SNGs I have played...plus you have 30%~ equity versus KQ anyway, since you win if one of the other cards pair and villain does not improve + set outs. I'd be more worried if I saw villain flipping 33 after I called him.

I just don't like getting involved when I'm behind. Don't get me wrong. There was little chance I was laying this hand down, I just wasn't comfortable because I had such a strong feeling the guy was pushing with KQ.
