Mid rounds 7-8 remain, I have 1500 and get AJ suited, in LP, blinds 25/50, I raise to 200 and get the button, 2 callers (2 limpers fold).
Flop A 7 6 . I bet out pot or 700 (leaving me w/ 600) hoping to take down the pot right there. The small blind calls (leaving him 300) others fold.
Turn heart, he check, I check. River Jc, he moves all in, I call.
He shows 10 5 and we get into a pissing match about how I think he is an idiot for making 2 bad calls.
Now, preflop, 25 in, calling 200 w/ no other callers, 100 in limps and 50 BB, I think calling 200 is a shit play. He agreed. I also thought that calling, essentially, all his chips on a flush draw was poor too. He said that he had odds to call. Now, in fact, he did have odds to call, but is it smart to call away your entire stack w/ only a flush draw and no pair. Also, his flush was 10 high, that could easily be beaten.
So, what is the play here, gamble with time (non bubble) as a strong underdog w/ potential odds or wait for a better spot?

His call pre-flop was really bad, but are you surprised that he got his money in with a flush draw? I mean if I'm going to play a hand like that I'm looking for a flush draw so all my chips are going into the pot on the flop or I fold, considering being out of position. Overall his pre-flop play was much worse than post-flop.

Put him all-in on the turn. There's no way you can fold on the river. You might as well ensure that you get his last 300 if you have him beat or if he's on some other squirly draw.
