Can you really give this guy credit for the 4th ace? It is only like 5 hands in to the SnG...no reads at all. I was leary on the flop, but when the third ace fell on the turn I thought I was good.

Tough one. The betting pattern suggests an ace is a possibility but the odds tell you its long.
I’d got with the odds and assume I was ahead 70% of the time here. Even more in a live game were players don’t overrate aces so much.

Reminds me of when Prahlad Friedman was playing Chris Ferguson heads-up at the WSOP circuit event at Rincon, where Ferguson literally needed the case ace to beat him--Friedman couldn't get away from it, and when that third ace comes, I'd say it's nearly impossible to lay it down. Sorry zinn.

I was playing a $20 1x1 at Doyles Room this morning just trying to build my bankroll a little and hit a hand like that. I wish I would have kept the hand history but didn't.
Me (1400) AA
Villian (2600) Q9
Villian makes it 200 to go. I flat call.
Flop A9A
I check setting a trap. Villian pushes for 200. I call 200.
Turn card and board has A9A. I check again.
Villian bets 450. I flat call.
River hits and board has A9A92.
Villian bets 650 and I make it 1300.
Villian calls. I made the quads and after that and swept through the rest of this HU match with little trouble and finished first.
Edit: I found the hand history for this one and made the corrections that my brain left out. I knew something didn't look right after I posted this. Glad you two were here to catch my blunders... :D ...thanks guys.

What were you're hole cards again? Sounds like it was a crooked game unless you made a typo...

Damn! That's sweet! 5 Aces! I bet you could have beat a royal flush with that hand!
