okay, I am very curious as to peoples opinions on this issue. I am v agressive in mtts but not wreckless, i will raise my button 70% of the time probably if everyone has folded and blinds r high enough.My point is , players know im raising with very marginal and they will occasionally play back at an agressive player. Say you pick up A 9 or K Q or 66 and the bb moved in on you, you werent given favourable odds but you know he knows taht you have nothing most of the time lol..Would this aid a call?
Lets say you have just above average stack , you are in the money and its 1/2 your stack leaving you crippled. Do you call with one of these hands?

If you are giving up half your stack for this, there is no way you can make this call. Villain knows you are loose, therefore there is a good chance you will call him. He would only push with hands that for sure beat you.

How would Villain peg him as being loose for playing aggressive? If you've been picking on someone's blinds, don't expect them to wait for a strong hand to push back, I know I wouldn't.

I'm going to agree with Johnny here, just because somebody is raising a lot, that makes them aggressive. That doesn't guarantee that they're loose enough to call a steal with 36o (unless pot odds are right).
I think pulling this move maybe 2 out of every 3 times from the button is useful, and if you fold to a push once, that sets up a play for the BB to push with a mediocre hand, and then they get punished when you actually have the goods.

This is a good strategy, like Salche said, if done in moderation. You keep doing it and someone will push back soon and could slaughter your chances of an ITM finish. The key is you want to do it early on and get caught doing it a time or two, while blinds and pots are cheap. Later when you do have some good hands on the button you can clean up some chips. I play this tatic the same way I do a bluff. I want people to catch me once in awhile.
