Ok, I got SS2, and both Harrington's books under the tree. My brother said he wanted to buy me one also. I will take all the good books I can. I play alot of home games, and small SNG online, like $5 and $10, and smaller tournies. This board suggests Winning low limit hold'em and small stakes hold'em as two great books. I ONLY play NL hold'em. I never have nor plan to play much of limit poker. So are both or either of these books for me?
Thanks for the help.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Theory of Poker, Tournament Poker for Advanced Players
ToP will help you a lot in your general play and could be helpful in any game if you choose to expand... TPFAP is obviously for those small tourneys you play. I don't really know any good No-Limit book.
Maybe check out "Stewart Reuben & Bob Ciaffone's Pot-Limit & No-Limit Poker Review at a Glance" I think Ciaffone has put out some stellar books.
Or, if you want some more entertainment poker reading check out Positively Fifth Street or The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King.

Two votes for Theory of Poker. You are already getting great situational and strategy books that are very specific. Now go for "Theory" which focuses on concepts and encourages that you figure out when to apply them. A must have.
