This was the most donkey play I think I have ever seen ... 10/20 at Pacific (that explains half of it)
I see 4th street with 789 (paid only the bring-in) and 4 other players, on fourth I catch the 10, and bet. Four players stay in the hand. On 5th I catch a 6 giving me the made straight. Another player catches an open pair of 5s, the other two have nothing. Its checked to me and I bet. One of the nothing players folds, the other two call. On 6th boards now read something like this ...
Villain #1: X X Q 5 5 Q
Villain #2: X X 6 9 7 7
Hero: 7 8 9 6 10 4
Villain #1 bets, I call and Villain #2 calls. I'm pretty sure I'm ahead here, since Villain #1 did not represent split queens on 3rd, and I have no reason to give him credit for a full house.
River comes, Villain #1 checks, villain #2 RAISES, villain #1 folds and I have to call no matter what because the pot is so huge
Villain #2's hand you ask? It was 4669777. The SOB hits runner runner DEAD cards to make a full house.
That pissed me off to no end, and I ended up -$300 for the session. If I win that pot, I'm up $200 right there and I probably quit.
