I plan on buying the book super system over the holidays, but before I do, I have a couple of questions for the people that have read it.
First, does it cover position, pot odds, starting hands to play, and all that stuff?
Second, is it a good book for cash games or tournaments or both?
are there any other books out there better then it?

It covers everything you want know and can be applied to both cash games and tournaments. I think you should get SS2 though.
