So Im sitting in the new poker room in Imperial Palace in Biloxi, its Christmas night, took 2 hours of standing near a desk where you could barely hear the lady on her mic to get a seat at 1/2 NL
So I sit, buy in and settle in to play. about three hours go by and Im up about 70 bucks. Standard raising on the table pre-flop has been 15-50.
Im dealt QQ in late position, the guy a seat past UTG raises to 15, folds to me, I raise to 45, every folds, he calls.
Flop comes 10x 2 7
He checks to me, I bet 100, he thinks for a second and goes all-in. I look at him a second or two and call. I have him covered by 22 dollars. Think it was another 51 dollars to call. (The guy has been aggressive all night, he has been sitting with me almost the entire time) He shows A 9
He catches running 9s to draw out on me.
Now im not upset with his call here, he has lots of out, 3 As, 9 s(or 8, honestly cant remember if I had a ), then when the 9 hits the turn, he had even more outs.
What Im wondering is if I played it badly? Should I have pushed instead of making the 100 bet?
Thoughts? Opinions?

I really dont think it matters. You were both going to get all in there anyway.
If you want to risk your stack as a favorite against a possible flush draw, then bet it. If you want to take down the pot w/out risking any more, then check the flop and go all in on the turn if a heart doesnt come.
I think you played it fine.

How does the poker room look? How was the action? Was it a 2 hour wait the whole night? I am going to head there or to Isle of Capri after this week (i.e. when I get paid).

The room wasnt really a room
Its a room on 3rd floor, top of escalator
They put some half walls in, then put 15-20 tables in there
It has slots and stuff surrounding it
People said earlier in the day the wait was much worse, and I know I had people sitting that said they had closer to a 3 hour wait
the 4/8 game had 9 games running and it was cruising thru the list
they only had 3 tables running 1/2 NL
Honestly, the game wasnt that tough..my buddy caught a nice soft table and won about 300, I almost switched over to his table, but i had a good feel for my table by then
The action was loose, like I said, 15 seemed the minimum bet pre-flop, which seemed high at 1/2. /shrug
All in all though, the IP looked good. You could tell it still needed some finishing work done and such
A few of the bosses and players in the poker room said that after the holidays, they are busting down the half-walls and expanding to fill that whole room....which will be pretty nice I think

Yikes, I think I may try the Isle first, 7.5X is awful high for the minimum pre-flop. Were there a bunch of cheap flops mixed in too or were there mostly raises.
Sorry for all the questions, I've only played NL live once and it wasn't pretty.

Lot of raises pre-flop
One hand was raised 15 pre-flop and 7 people saw the flop
lol
I dont expect you'll find a game where people are raising less than 10 pre-flop
Never saw it all night, I only saw a couple hands that we didnt see a flop
2 were mine where I raised from early position 15 and everyone folded..lol
I had a very tight table image and it paid off at times
Til of course the last hand I got involved in..
