ok. i bought Harrington on Hold'em today.. volume 1... about 16 pages in and i already understand pot odds! i find it amazing.. when geno couldnt teach me that in like an hour n a half :D but thanks anyway geno for trying

I linked you to a page explaining pot odds more than once, I also explained it in detail, what's not to know? I despair of you child

I think we've been giving mike a rough time.
Don't we think we should make fun of the fact that he's Canadian instead of that we think he's 15?

I could see an argument for making fun of him because he is a 15 year old Canadian. Might as well go for both angles, eh?

thanks zinn and salche i respect that.. and yea.. im only 14.. i've learned so much from this book.. and im only on page 50 of about 400.. i can't wait for whats to come.

When he starts typing like a normal person and loses the AOL speak i'll quit giving him a hard time. (Learning where the shift key is located wouldn't hurt either)

I’m surprised you learned pot odds from Harrington, he doesn’t cover it in that much detail compared to someone like Sklansky.
Anyway keep up the reading it’ll pay off mate!

How are you getting on with this book, Mike?
I suggest you read it through.
Then read it again.
And maybe again.
And then keep on going back and picking different sections out as and when you think certain aspects of your game need working on. Well that's what I did anyway. Also have read it pretty much every night (just before bed) since I bought it 4 months ago. However...
...HOH2 is on it's way to me right now. I can't wait to get stuck in to it. I ordered it a week ago now. It's still not here
