I've never had AA or KK cracked. But I bet it sucks.

I also prefer losing to 84o rather than scare people out

Extremely passive play with your AA in that hand. No PF raise. Only a 1/3 pot raise on the flop. Check on the turn gave villain a free river card, and the river is a clearcut case of either you fold or you raise bigtime.

I feel vindicated. Mike told me on MSN that before he played again he would read the whole of a poker book to which I replied "I bet you start playing after reading about 10 pages". He promised that was not true and yet we have this thread despite another thread declaring that he is on page 50 of 400. My case rests.

I forgot, is this advanced theory or the bad beat forum?

Raise preflop for christs' sake ... don't min-bet a flop with a FLUSH DRAW and a few straight draws on it ...

Then don't whine about AA being busted by 84o

It's in the Beginners' section now, seems most appropriate here :D

LoL

I was looking for it, couldn't find it, had to use the handy search function ... then I laughed!

Hand 1: You dug your own grave. DO NOT SLOW PLAY ACES!

Hand 2: Why Min-Raise? You are giving the BB over 2:1 odds to see a flop. If he called and hit two pair, you were going broke and getting pissed again. This time it worked out, but let's not be results oriented.
