ok heres the deal i was playing texas hold em and nobody could determine which hand won here are the hands
Community Cards 9H 9S 2D 2H Qh
player # 1 9D 6C
Player # 2 9C KD
ok my arguement is player # 1 wins because of the high suit 9
and player two says that the High card king counts toward the
full house and wins

It's a split pot. You always use the best possible five card combination. In this case both players have a full house, nines full of twos. You never go to a sixth card or use a rank of suits.

Actually it is all dependant on the Queen of Hearts.
She has been secretly having an affair with the King of Diamonds who has threatened to commit suicide if she doesn't push all the chips his way.
If she had not shown up on the river it would have been a push.

When I read the first sentence, I thought you had too much to drink already and was about to rip you a new one. Then I read on a laughed like a drunken sailor.

I thought Player 2 wins because Spade is the highest but then Clover is the second highest. As Player 2 is holding Clover, he/she is the winner~

Suits are never considered anymore, the standard is to just split the pot.
IIRC even when suits were considered it was only for flushes. Otherwise there would never be a split pot and deciding whose hand won would take to long.
